RIDE THE ROCKIES 2007
OK, let there be no question that I left home at O:dark:30. I had 80 miles to go, just to get to the start of the Rallye. When it was all over I had another 80 miles to go to get home! The odometer on the TC (which is renowned for it's accuracy) registered a bit over 260 miles and my back side registered a bit over 1,000 miles when I got home.
I can however assure you, I was still smiling!
When the following picture was taken my wife was still snuggled in our bed!
The next group of pictures was taken before the Rallye left. The parking lot was full of some very interesting cars. I believe that my TC was the oldest car present.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: All of the pictures on this page were taken at 6MP. I reduced the side of all pictures for the website. If you have a particular picture you would like at full size please send me a request via email and I will send you the full size picture.

ENJOY!
The next set of pictures was of the Rallye itself. We went up Lookout Mountain, then to Idaho Springs. From Idaho Springs we continued to climb towards Mount Evans, then down to Evergreen and Morrison. Finally we got back into Denver and had a great Mexican lunch. All in all it was a really great Rallye. To be honest, since I did not have a navigator I simply followed David Moulton and his son in their Bug Eye Sprite. I really enjoyed this drive, and plan to do it again next year. YOU SHOULD TOO!
The following pictures are the T-Series Cars and a couple of others. This was a really big show. I understand that there were 551 vehicles in attendance. The T-Series cars were pretty well represented. I know that there are more out there. We just need to get them to attend.
NOTE: If any of you would like a full size (6MP) picture file of your car please let me know. I can email it to you.
Isn't this a lively looking crew!
The following pictures give some idea of the size of this event. This is by far the largest event of it's kind that I have ever attended. If you were not there, YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!!
DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT NEXT YEAR!!!
