MINUTES FROM THE

ROCKY MOUNTAIN MG T-REGISTER

ANNUAL MEETING - NOVEMBER 10, 2007

The meeting was conducted by Jack Kahler, Chairman of the RMMGT Register.

First order of business: nominations for new officers.

Nominations were taken for a new Chairman and Vice Chairman:

Bud Silvers was nominated for Chairman and the nomination was seconded by Bob Rittenhouse.

Bud Silvers elected.

Phil Shires was nominated for Vice Chairman and the nomination was seconded by Tom Cox.

Phil Shires elected.  

It was also noted that the Advisory Committee will be disbanded and replaced with a "Past Chairman's Committee" This committee will oversee the direction of our club and assist in any way they can to insure its continued success.

The proposed schedule of events for 2008 are as follows:

JANUARY:      *OPEN - NO EVENT SCHEDULED TO DATE

FEBRUARY 17:  GUS GRESH HOSTS - BRITISH CAR SEARCH

MARCH 15:     JIM GOODWIN HOSTS - ST. PAT'S PARADE (CO SPGS)

APRIL ??:     BILL BOLLENDONK HOSTS - TECH SESSION

MAY 10:       PHIL SHIRES HOSTS - FOOTHILLS DRIVE

JUNE 6/7/8:   *GLENWOOD RALLYE (MGCC EVENT)

JULY ??:      BUD SILVERS HOSTS - ICE CREAM SOCIAL/POKER RUN

AUG ??:       TOM COX HOSTS - THE RETURN OF THE MINI GOF

SEPT 13/14?:  *ENGLISH CONCLAVE/CLUB BBQ (WE NEED SOMEONE TO PULL THIS EVENT TOGETHER.)

OCT ??:       BRITTANY GRESH HOSTS - CAR SHOW FUND RAISER

NOV 8:        ANNUAL RMMGT REGISTER MEETING

DEC ??:       ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER

*ALL OF THESE EVENTS WILL BE ELABORATED UPON AS THEIR TIME GROWS NEAR...IF YOU WISH TO HELP AND/OR HOST AN EVENT PLEASE CONTACT BUD SILVERS (OUR NEW CHAIRMAN)...HE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

FINALLY:  BILL BOLLENDONK (EDITOR OF THE NEWSLETTER) SPOKE ABOUT THE NEW FORMAT FOR THE NEWSLETTER EFFECTIVE JANUARY 2008....BUD SILVERS WILL BE INCORPORATING THE NEWSLETTER ON THE WEB SITE AND THERE WILL NO LONGER BE A PAPER EDITION....ALL MEMBERS ARE URGED TO FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE WEB SITE AS ALL UPDATES, ARTICLES, PHOTOS AND EVENTS WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE.
