If anyone has any additions or corrections please let me know and I will make the adjustments. This was a very informal meeting and our previous Secretary was unable to attend this meeting.

Nov.15,2008 MINUTES
Members present: Bud and Anne Silvers, Reddy Gentry, Bill and Jeanne Bollendonk, Jack Kahler, Dave Dugan, Don Sass, Eleanor Perry, Mike and Carol Francks, Jim Gorman, Chuck and Terri Wiley, Bob and Jackie Rittenhouse, Tom Cox, Suzann Bron, and Alan Magnuson.
The meeting was opened by Bud Silvers, who thanked everyone for their participation this last year. .
OLD BUSINESS
Midge wasn’t in attendance and wants to be replaced as secretary. Anne Silvers took minutes for her.
NEW BUSINESS
Election of officers. A letter by Phil Shires was read accepting the nomination as Chairperson. Thus elections began. Our new Chairman is Phil Shires, with Bud Silvers as co-chair. The treasurer is Mike Francks, secretary is Chuck Wiley. The members of the advisory board are Mike Francks, Bob Rich, Bill Bollendonk and Jack Kahler – all past chairmen.
An email was read from Lavern Downey ,resulting with those present wanting him to chair an event during the Glenwood Springs weekend. Bud will contact Laverne and discuss this.
Another email was read from Carrie Kroschel offering to chair an event in Leadville in August?
EVENTS FOR NEXT YEAR
February - Dinner at Gus Grit's house
April - Welcome back party for Lynn and Bob Douglass
May - A tour by Phil Shires
July - A veterans tour to El Rancho and up Mt Evans by Jim Gorman
August - Broadmoor Brunch by Anne Silvers
September 6th - Wine tasting at Broadmoor Concours
September 12th & 13th - British Conclave
October - A tour in conjunction with NCRT
The meeting was adjourned, then reopened for Jack Kahler.
Jack requested donations for the people of Gambo for their children's Christmas party. This needs to be done post haste with checks made out to " The Salvation Army Church of Gambo.
Jack also proposed that we put out a newsletter. It was discussed. Possibly we will put out a postcard , quarterly, of coming events to all those who would rather have mail than receive it by email.
